Seven Laws for Seventy Nations

Whether these Seven Laws were ordained by Gd in the Torah and transmitted to us by Moses and which were previously ordained to Noah's descendants.

1. Do not practice idolatry

2. Don't curse and blaspheme Gd

3. Don't kill

4. Not to commit adultery, not to have sex with animals, incestuous or homosexual *.

5. Don't steal

6. Don't eat a part of the live animal

7. Having laws and respecting justice

Without respect for these Laws of ethics and these basic principles that maintain civilization , the world would return to chaos.

* Watch out! Respect for the Law should not be used as an excuse to discriminate against someone or to express their violence and their demise! On the contrary, the Law is to unite and love others, to make civilization more pleasant to live. Therefore, it is necessary to learn, transmit and enforce these Divine Laws with great love and intelligence. The Seven Laws of Noah are not a code for judging or discriminating against someone. We invite the reader to use common sense before reading these Laws and contacting the Rabinato do Rio de Janeiro to resolve any doubts. Thanks.

THE SEVEN NOAHIC COMMANDMENTS - AND THE NOAHIC CODE

The seven Commandments of Noach begin with the prohibition against the worship of everything other than the Supreme and Only Gd, the Creator and Master of the Universe. It consists of five other prohibitions - against homicide, theft, illicit sexual relations, blasphemy and cruelty to animals in general and not eating part of a live animal in particular - and a final imperative command with two aspects: positive obligation to establish a system of courts and rules of law and justice and a prohibition on taking any action that may contribute to an unfair legal decision.

THE SEVEN MITSVOT OF BNEI NOACH

SEVEN DIVINE COMMANDMENTS FOR NON-JEWS

SEVEN NOAHIC COMMANDMENTS AND NOAHIC CODE

The world “was not created for chaos; it was formed to be inhabited ”(Isaias, XLV: 18). A chaotic world is the result of the lack of firm and secure bases supporting the values and norms that guide man. Gd, the Creator of the world, did not abandon His work in chaos; He gave you clear guidance on how the world can become habitable, that is, civilized, productive, decent and lasting.

The seven commandments of the "descendants of Noach" * is the name by which the Jewish tradition refers to a legal and moral body ordained by Gd and addressed to the entire human race. These laws provide humanity, in a broad way, with the basic requirements for the world to have lasting peace, productivity and justice and for man to achieve a life with a purpose and to be fulfilled in the midst of the joy and happiness of the heart. The Universal Seven Commandments were originally communicated to Adam; later they were repeated to Noach, being confirmed and promulgated again, with an unprecedented clarity and certainty and still not surpassed, about 3312 years ago, as an integral part of the Torah given by Gd from Mount Sinai through Moshé.

* "Descendants of Noach" - it is humanity in general, which is distinguished from "descendants of Israel", specifically the Jewish nation.
